Hi there! My name is Greg, and I'm a Portland SEO Consultant, also a friend of Ryan, the owner of Catalyst Construction Portland. I manage their social media accounts and website, which has been a great experience for me and my team at Webfu. We've seen the company grow tremendously since 2012, and I'm proud to have been a part of it.
This page serves as a website credit page, where I'll list the software and hardware I use to manage the Catalyst Construction website. As the only one working on the website, aside from Google who delivers ads to it, I often get asked about the tools I use. So here's a list of them, along with some acknowledgments.
For the "Home Remodel Gallery" section, you'll find photos taken by Ryan, the main person behind the company. However, I've used Adobe Photoshop to create the web gallery for Ryan's completed remodeling projects. I mainly work on a Dell desktop computer with the latest version of the Windows Operating System. But since mobile devices are often used to find services and professionals online, I also use an iPhone and an iPad to test web pages on different browsers and operating systems. I use Macromedia Dreamweaver for all my HTML programming tasks, despite my preference for larger screens when working with websites and graphics. Currently, my primary development and editing system is an older Dell desktop computer with a second and third monitor, and an HP laptop for when I'm traveling.
We use WordPress for website development, which requires a specific hosting environment to set up. For editing HTML or code, I prefer using Dreamweaver, which is customizable and available for purchase from Adobe. For graphics, I use Adobe Photoshop and run those images through WP-Optimize to make them download faster on the web.
To ensure website functionality, we always test our websites on various browsers, including Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Brave. If you need a website of your own, don't hesitate to email us or call us today. We'd be happy to help!
